Component selections such as servos, linkage, battery, engine and propeller, for IMAC-type competiton
flying are very different than your everyday fun fly setup. Every single equipment is chosen for a reason
and set up for a specific purpose. Although a good pilot can make any plane appeares to fly good, but a properly equipped airplane can make any
pilot looking incredibly skillful.
|
At AirWild we firmly believe there ought to be a propeller designed uniquely for contest flying because
competiton manuvers impose a very different and yet specific kind of performance requirements on the propeller.
By fine-tuning the propeller desgin to tackle those very explicit flight conditons it can optimally create an idealized
flight environment where pilot works less to set up the airplane for the next manuver and actually maintains
better control of the airplane through the manuver.
|
After much experiment and flight testing we are now extremely confident and proud to announce to the IMAC
enthusiats that "folks, we have a solution for you"; announcing AirWild NX Contest-Series Propeller.

|
Designed Specifically For IAMC Flying
|
We look at every single IMAC manuver, try to understand the specific requirements of each manuver and then device
the prop to fulfill the dynamic needs of the flight. The end result is a "performance tuned" propeller.

|
Commanding Up-Line Pull
|
AirWild NX Contest-Series prop will pull your airplane through up-line manuvers with authority. Thrust
delivery is linear which results in a very constant speed upward progression. Multiple up-line snaps
can be accomplished with ease and airplane exits snaps with undiminishing pull.
|
|
Constant-Speed Down-Line Braking
|
In a throttle downed, unloaded down-line state AirWild NX Contest-Series exhibits exceptional air braking, thus restrainning
the air speed and holding the airplane to a slow and steady descent. Through out the down line you will
feel firmly in control with ample setup time for the next manuver.
|
|
Linear Throttle Response
|
Some of the most critical judging criteria in a perceision aerobatics contest are symmetry, consistency and
fluidity of individual manuvers and the entire sequence as a whole. Therefore throttle response of a
propeller is particullar critical in competition flying. An aggressive RPM curve may render the airplane
"feeling punchy and unpredictable" to sudden acceleration. When decelerating you may not want the
airplane to come to a sudden halt as that may affect presentation. AirWild NX Contest-Series
design strives to bring you a very "controlled and balanced feel" to the throttle response which
translates to "BETTER CONTROL" to contest pilots.

Low Noise
|
This is our quietest performance propeller, and probably the quietest wood propeller on the market as well; a net result of our innovative design, unique
material and proprietary process.
